DVD Helps Autistic Children Recognize Emotions
Products

The TransportersA new DVD series called the Transporters was designed to help children with autism learn to recognize emotions.  It takes the premise that autistic children are generally excellent with memorization and recall, so the series utilizes those strengths to teach them to recognize human emotions.  The creators claim that when the videos are watched for just 15 minutes per day, over 4 weeks your child will experience a difference.

Body Bib

BagginoAn average spoon fed baby can eat up to 5 small meals per day.  How can a parent keep track of all those meals?  Count the number of shirts that must be washed per child.  When my kids were learning to eat, I stayed up nights fantasizing about a full body bib that could be whisked away at the end of a meal, leaving my boys' clothing in pristine condition, ready to present at playgroup.  Well, its too late for me, but I have come across my dream-bib in time to save some other laundry weary moms from infinite clothing changes.

Baggino Learner Bibs are like backwards terry cloth robes. (Think Snuggies for infants.) They have long sleeves and a very long front to catch and sop up all the mess, even on the lap.  It is just a smart item and affordable too.  You can score a Baggino Lerner Bib from the website for $12.50.
